Palings were an important firm in Australia, but being based in the UK, I have no experience of their pianos...

Victor Series
Victor serial numbers as far as I am aware started around 1905 at 16449 (I could be wrong). Your serial number suggests a Paling piano most likely pre 1905. As the company started operations around 1893 it would appear that you have inherited an antique!serial no.15191 ... suggestions on where to start looking (for Victor)
