Marshall & Rose upright
Good people,
Please can you tell me more about my Marshall & Rose upright? Its serial number is 206237. I thought it was 1985, the tuner thought 1989... to be honest, if I didn't know they weren't made any more, I'd have said it was made last week it's so clean inside!
Can you tell me a bit more and give an accurate year? Just please don't tell me it's rubbish as I'm rather fond of her and my feelings are bruised easily!
Thanks,
Jan

Sorry, I mainly deal with antiques, perhaps someone else will be able to help.

Re: Marshall & Rose upright
The serial number should be painted or transferred onto the frame. If it's 1985 it will start with "85", but 1989 may start with "10" Basically it's a Welmar, and Welmar serial numbers will apply.Nutroast wrote:Good people,
