Did that man literally, fart in your wife's face? Was she bending down as the bloke passed ( wind ) Honesly has he no maners / pride?
Me and a friend walked into the shoe section of T-K Maks and it stunk of a fart, we saw a lady move away quickly. Me and my friend looked at eachover and just laughed and quickly moved on in case some one esle though it was us!

I have to agree with loads of these, except The Office and League of Gentlemen, sorry, Anna, I just didn't get it....
OK, a couple more vague claims to fame coming up.
CtF #1:The best man at my parents' wedding used to do the lighting for The Goodies. I got Tim Brooke-Taylor's autograph when I met him on a sponsored walk.
CtF #2: I adored Not The Nine O'Clock News! I went to see them at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane when they did a live version and we hung around the stage door afterwards and met all the cast and got our programmes signed.
I was a latecomer to Fater Ted, my husband introduced me to it and it's fantastic - DRINK! GIRLS!

Yeah I thought you would be happy about that!dave brum wrote:Incidentally so good that Brand has got the boot from the BBC! Now get Ross out and the pair of irritatives can join Talksport or LBC where they will be welcomed with open arms!!!
I love it when Bishop Brennan says that so funny! Don't you just love the episode ' Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The Ars#'
Oh well. League of Gentlemen is very weird thats why I love it so is Garthmaringi's Dark Place, its a spoof on old 70s style Sci-Fi series; absolutely hilarious! The Office seems so real, its like what would really go on in an office.Nutroast wrote:I have to agree with loads of these, except The Office and League of Gentlemen, sorry, Anna, I just didn't get it....

I was also a latecomer to Father Ted, my dad introduced me to it. Father Ted is just genius!
Oh yeah derrrrr! how could I forget, Peep Show, I love that series!
Hi Dave
I'm ok but I'm still having job hunting frustration!
Oh, whats that version of Moonlight like? is it as long as my one? 3 pages, roughly 60 bars. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, ( well maybe not as much ) The version I have is an ABRSM one.
I'm still working on that Bach prelude, and have started to try to learn a Chopin prelude, and I also have my homework.

Thats cool Dave,
Don't forget to tell me all about your trip to Manchester, and most importantly Forsyths! its got soooooooooooooo many pianos!
Look at their website they have some really weird looking grand pianos. There is a see - through one ( quite nice ) and a really weird one that looks like a Miro painting or something .
I haven't tried deep fried Mar Bars!, then again I have been to the more scenic parts of Scotland.

DON'T wish Brand onto LBC - I listen to that!
Favourite comedy programmes; Porridge, Open All Hours, Father Ted (yes, the kick up the  made me laugh so much I had to sit with my inhaler at the ready and tears rolling down my face), The Office (NOT the crap merkin one), some Monty Python (although The Holy Grail is a film, and that's my fave), and Black Books.

Having said that I listen to LBC, I actually DON'T in the morning while Ferret's on; I listen to R2 from 7 until 9 (apart from this week - that auction GETS ON MY NERVES) then flip over to Ronnie Barbour on Three Counties...hysterical. Nick Ferrari is the human embodiment of the Daily Mail! (Fave Private Eye Mail spoof; ASYLUM SEEKERS FOUND IN TAP WATER)
Best comedy?
What's the best comedy that you would recommend me to watch?
My preference:
1. Not too stupid (excluding Mr Bean)
2. Not too deep
3. Not too vulgar
