In spite of having London lists for every decade, I have been unable to trace a firm called Dallinson so far, and it seems to have been an alias used by Barnes on pianos bought in from wholesalers, some examples around 1910, and nothing as early as the 1800s. I don't have lists of Manchester tuners for 1845, but I'll see what I can find. If you could email some photos to me, I could tell you more. It could be an 1840s piano with a later transfer added when it was repolished.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but the photos comfirm that this piano was not tuned in 1845, it was probably made about a hundred years ago. If you remove the front panel below the keyboard, the iron frame may have some datemarks or other marks which help. It is also possible that the action (the working parts of the notes) is marked wth the action maker's name and number on the rear, but you may need your tuner's help removing the action to find it.
