New Yamaha - Smell
Post by thepianist »
I have just bought a new Yamaha U1 (polished ebony)and I encounter a disturbing issue. The piano has a significant smell (seems as if it is caused by the wood itself or the laquer).
Any idea if this can be resolved?
Thanks.

The new smell will go away but you can put some perfume bags in the bottom of the piano
BTW we do have a social life and contrary to popular belief I do turn off my computer now and again
Take care
