KORG C520 Connecting to laptop problems!

I have got a Korg C520 digital piano but I have been having problems getting it to connect to my piano. I have downloaded the latest driver software but for some reason I cannot same to transfer music to and from the piano. Also on my computer there is nothing coming up to show that the computer has recognized it is plugged in!

If anyone has got this piano or knows why this is or can help me in any way I would greatly apprechiate it!

Connecting a laptop or PC to a computer is a common grievance - for me also!
Does your keyboard have USB connections or just MIDI ports?

Well I have got a lead one end is USB (that bit goes in the laptop) the other end is a smaller squareish shape bit that plugs into the piano underneath, thats the only connection. So yeah I guess thats a usb connection. It pops up and says C520 ready to use but when I open the korg midi transfer program and try to send or recieve data nothing happens!

I want to get cubase so I can edit stuff that I make up etc... but I dont see the point in buying the program until I can get this to work!
