Zeitter& Winkelmann
Good Day! Sorry for my English it-s not very well. Maybe someone on this forum can help me to find out the age of my piano Zeitter & Winkelmann. Its height is 136cm and the only number I could find is "1752" on on the upper right corner of plate.

With that name, there will be a larger number somewhere, probably 5 digits long.

Serial number 1752 would be from around 1868 to 1869. That would be an early instrument for Zeitter & Winkelmann. The company formed in 1837 as only Winkelmann, and Zeitter was added in 1851. I am currently researching the company because I am descended from the old Winkelmann owners and want to tell the story to my children. Do you have any more information or any photos?
