It's here!
My new Irmler F164 grand finally arrived last Wednesday.
It's lovely. Well it is at the moment. I'm sure there will be occasions when my playing will be awful and naturally it will the the piano's fault.
The only problems (so far)are:
1. The adjusting nut at the top of the brass rod which operates the una corda mechanism had moved during delivery so the keyboard did not move as fas as it should have. I have corrected this.
2. I need to put the piano on anti vibration pads and also put a thick rug under it. The sound is far too bright and muddy because of the wooden floor probably acting as a soundboard.
