Humidity control

Hi,
I recently purchased a Pramberger JP208 conservatory grand piano. I want to keep it in good condition over the years, but I have received conflicting information regarding the need to control the humidity. As a example, I spoke separately with 2 different employees of a well-respected piano store; one said emphatically that there is no need to humidify the room, the other said I should keep the humidty at 40-45%. I live in the Denver, Colorado area of the US and the climate is very dry here (right now it is 9% humidity). Thoughts or advice? Thanks.

You get very big swings in your part of the world a piano life saver with an under blanket and string blanket is the norm in your part of the world the guy who told you to keep the room at 45% is correct

its better to control the room with a grand if you can, but that can be very expensive visit this site for more information
