Berlin manufacturer 1908

Post by shazscrap »

Hi there,

Unfortunately my old piano came to a sad demise but I was silly enough not to record the manufacturer / serial number etc. and now I can't remember the details. I remember it was "something" & "something" and that it had Berlin written on it and 1908 I believe. For some reason I remember a name such as "Berg/Borg" on it but I could be wrong. And maybe a "k" as the last letter on the other name? ANY help regarding any info you would have on this would be greatly appreciated. I have such sentimental value attached to that piano.

Many thanks,
Sharon (Australia)

Bogs & Voigt is the only name that comes to mind.

I know very little about them, and of course NOTHING about your piano, I haven't seen it. They were established in 1905, and disappeared in the twenties, so very few are antiques, and most are suffering from old age now.
