Brinsmead history
Hello..I have a Brinsmead piano (upright ) with serial number 63408.
Is it possible to find out the full history of this piano.?
Where it was Mfg?
When?
Shipped to Australia?
Was it export model?
Would it have been brought to Australia by Londoner?
Emblems/Ornaments (brass or similar) have been removed from front casing of piano...Was there a standard screw on emblem on these models? Pictures , availability.
Any extra info for these models would be appreciated. Any tuning tips , how to change the bridle straps on these
models. Hints/tips.
thankyou.

When? The number suggests 1909.
Nobody anywhere can trace the life history of every individual piano.
Was there a standard screw-on emblem on these models?
These were probably sconces (candleholders) - nobody can tell you which type were used on an individual piano. You'll have to look around antique shops, I only found two good pairs in thirty years.
TUNING TIPS?! Get a qualified tuner.
How to change the bridle straps on these models? The usual way.
