I am trying to find out some information on my piano. All i know is that it is by herrburger brooks ltd. I would be happy to email a picture to someone if they think they can help.

Herrburger Brooks do not make pianos, they only make piano actions, the working parts of the notes. I presume you found the name inside the piano, on the action. Have a look at the Datemarks page at www.PianoGen.org

Hi,

My Kessels piano had a Herrburger Brooks action (overdamped upright), but the frame and case were labelled Kessels. It was made in 1926.

If you have a photo of the action I could see whether it looks like mine. (I don't have that piano now but still have photos of it).

There are thousands of pianos with Herrburger Brooks actions, so the chances of it being identical are fairly slim, and it would not indicate the date of the piano. Email some photos to me.
