Chappell 1914 Grand
Post by boogie boy »
I have come across a 9ft , 1914 Chappell piano (Mahogony).
Not seen it yet but would appreciate any advice from someone who has experience with these instruments.
What should I look for as far as "irreparable" aspects of the instrument and what is a fair price for such instruments from this manufacturer?
Any help/suggestions welcome.

In there day they were very good, use to be used for the Proms but a piano of that age will have problems
All items can be repaired on a piano if your pockets are deep - quite a few could do a rebuild for 12 to 15k and all you would have of the original piano would the case and the frame and a nice piano at the end
Barrie,
