I've got Steinway 77JJ, any idea what year it could be and what value it may reach when renovated?

77JJ is not a serial number...

where can i find a proper sierial number and how does it look like?
It is small stainway & sons, New York Hamburg registered U.S.pat.off. it also says M1 X 25 9 261
What does the 77JJ?

I am not an expert on Steinways, pianos often have lots of numbers in them, but serial numbers would usually be much larger than 77, with no letters attached. Have a look at the Numbers page at www.PianoGen.org

i found some information about serial numbers to date relation, if anyone could tell me where to look for the serial number of steinway grand piano?
