Wm. Knabe piano

About 10 years or more ago we bought an old farmhouse. This upright piano was left behind by previous, previous owners. I don't know much about pianos, I'm just wondering about any info you might have, and if it's worth anything or should I give it away? Wm Knabe & Co., Gold Medal Piano, serial #36100

The number suggests that it was made around 1892, nobody can guess the value or condition of a piano without on-the-spot inspection.
