Spencer

Post by john ager »

Hi, I have an upright piano with Spencer, London on it. I presume it was made by John Spencer & Co Ltd. The serial number is 52209. Could you tell me its age and any other information on the instrument and the company? Many Thanks.

There's a whole set of postings about Spencer further down this page, there are lots of them around. A Spencer in the 52000 range has the orginal 1909 receipt, but there may also be datemarks on or under the keys. See the Datemarks page at www.PianoGen.org
