Hello, I bought a J.Bauer & Co. upright piano for $75.00 from my neighbor. I don't know much about pianos but I was wondering how old it is and if it is worth anything. I had it tuned and the tuner guy said to check on line. The serial number is 27848. The piano seems to be in good condition all of the keys work, on one I have to push it down harder then the others. Any information you have on Bauer or my piano would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Catie

We don't see them over here, all I can tell you is that the number suggests 1885.
