Decisons. decisions, decisions - help!!

Post by rach_sheff »

I have about £1200 to spend on an acoustic piano... I know i need about £3000, but unrealistic...

I want a small modern piano, but full 88 keys and a nice mellow tone - looking for some advice or experience.

I have seen - a 2nd hand Broadwood priced at £995
a new Yamaha B1 at £1600 (is over budget, but could save a bit)
a secondhand Knight or Kemble ( again over budget but may be able to get one privately for that sort of money.)

Any other suggestions?? Or anyone selling anything suitable in South Yorkshire??

Ask local tuners, they may know of something for sale.
You can get lucky in small ads or auctions but you need to know what you are doing.
Knight K10 or 30 year old Kemble as you say are nice. Try some in shops before. Get a tuners opinion before you buy.
