Bell piano from Gough & Davy
Good morning:
I have a BELL upright piano which was bought secondhand in UK . It has resided in Canada... west coast... for 30 years. I have found the number 22956 and a faint inscription above the number which might read GOUGH and DAVY. Can you tell me where is was made and how old it might be?
Thank you.

There were several piano firms named Bell, and the obvious choice would be the Canadian one, in which case that number may suggest 1911, but Gough & Davy seem to have sold it, and they were in Hull and Lincolnshire, England. Is there any more information anywhere? Have a look at the Datemarks page at www.PianoGen.org
