Kemble baby grand 50 years old
Dear experts,
Could you please help me with your advice on this Kemble baby grand?

Unfortunately, I do not know the serial number, and it was not found by the people selling it. The piano is about 50 years old.
I am wondering if it might possibly be a rough equivalent to Yamaha U3? Actually, I am looking for U3, but it is hard to find a good U3 in Ottawa.
I am reading your forum with great interest, and remember the advice of Piano Gay to go for serial numbers 4 000 000+ for U3.
I would apreciate your advice.
Thank you very much

Ooh, get, you Sweetie. More comments like that and I'll scratch yer eyes out.... (and other non-PC 1970s stereotype phrases....)
The older Kemble grands were not highly thought of. They suffered from poor design and frame drilling in the treble and as a consequence are difficult to tune. Not so the new models which are Yamahas with knobs on.
Stick to the U3.
Much better.
