Herrburger Brooks
Post by Marion Leavey »
I have a Herrburger Brooks Piano, Serial Number P38938. It has a sticker on the inside which reads
£38.18
£40 1 year
£42.10 2 Years
£44.15 3 years
This must have been the payment terms in those days. I bought it for £250 IN 1986 IN IRELAND. I would love to know its age.
Thank You.

Herrburger Brooks didn't make pianos, they only made the actions, the working parts of the notes, and all that tells me is that the piano is after 1919. I presume the name is inside the piano, on the action? Have a look at the Datemarks page at www.PianoGen.org
