Breyer / Grunert upright

Post by Gordofoca »

Hi, I wonder if someone could help finding out the age of this upright: -On the case it has two names, Breyer and Grunert. -On the inside it says Grunert on the mechanism an also has a plate with this info:
Hupfeld
Piano N° 10320
Apparat N° 36644

If you can add some info or link i'll really appreciate it. Thanks a lot, best Regards

Hupfeld

There were several piano or music firms in the twenties called Breyer, or Grunert, but not "Breyer & Grunert". Hupfeld is a name often associated with player pianos and reproducing pianos. No dates of any of their numbers are available.
