any special paint for refurbing a case?

Post by James »

I am looking to sell my Eavestaff minipiano but the case is pretty battered from years in our family home.

It's not worth much to a dealer so I figure a private sale is best. Because it looks a little rough I figure a sand down and a coat of paint just on the exterior would work wonders for it's general appearance.
Is there a specific type of paint/laquer I need and if so where can I get some from?
thanks in advance,
James

Any modern varnish will work they would have used clear cellulose over a stained veneer.
