The VPP serial number page gets it wrong most of the time I thing there is a bug in his code this is the correct dates

Kingsbury 243789 =1923
Yes the Ivers & Pond were a reasonable make however, so are Steinways but there are quite a lot outthere that need a shed full of money spent on them
