Can anyone give me any info on my piano? The number inside it is 47069. In the lid it says Thomas Harvey Sheperdess Walk London. My local shoe repairer and locksmith can also make keys for pianos if you can remove the lock, I have done this, no more squashed fingers in the lid. He is based in north london N18.

I have already answered this one by email, but perhaps someone else can add something. Any locksmith would find a piano lock very simple to deal with, but many tuners keep a stock of the few standard types of piano lock-keys, and these tend to be cheaper.
