Compagnie Concordia Berlin

Post by Banexxx »

Dear all, my family owns a piano by Compagnie Concordia Berlin (Jnh: Mezel, Schleenhayn and Berndt.), but we can't find any information about it. We found on the internet that it has been made between 1869-1910, but that is all we know. Piano is full of details and it's very attractive. If anybody can provide us with any information we'll be grateful.
Thank you!

Compagnie Concordia, Berlin,

Compagnie Concordia were established in Berlin 1869, and seem to have gone by 1928. I have no other information, but there have been other postings on this forum, and you may find clues there.

Hi,

We also have a Compagnie Concordia upright piano, from Berlin. It says it won an award in 1883. So I assume this is the date it was made. I too have looked on the tinterweb but have been unable to find anything other than this forum's threads. Would be pleased to hear if anyone knows anything about this make of piano. Thanks.

If you look on my own website, you will see that all the medal or award tells us is that the piano was made afterthat event.
