I have been offered an upright Welmar piano. Case in burr walnut or that's what it looks like with marquetry inlay of a bouquet of flowers and pillars carved down the sides. It has a really nice sound. Is it possible to tell me roughly how old it is? (Older than me even I suspect)

If you can find any numbers inside the top of the piano, these may tell us how old it is. See also the Datemarks link at www.pianogen.org
