Most piano names are not listed on the net, libraries are often more help! The name Wood presents a problem because there are so many piano-related firms connected with the famous scottish publishing family. There are so many items on Blair Wood, Cramer Beale & Wood, Marr Wood, Muir Wood, Paterson Sons & Marr Wood Ltd., Wood & Co., Wood, Small & Co., etc., that it will be some time before they are all sorted out.

Having said that, I have only one entry for a John Wood in London:
