I came across a piano (brimsmead no 497724) in the central panel is a picture of Andromeda being chained to the rock for sacrifice when the piano tuner came to attempt to tune the piano (which he later condemned) I asked about the picture, he said he had never seen one (piano) with a picture in the central panel before and he said it had been inserted at a later date.
I then took the front panel off the piano and unscrewed the panel at the rear which held the picture in place, holding the picture in place was the green beige that is used on the hammers so this was put in at the factory
? has any one ever come across these pianos like I said the picture is in the central panel in between the candle holders

Yes lots, hunting scenes are common and Gills favourite little cherubs. The norm are flowers in the central panel

In the 50’s shops turned the panel round so the plain side showed
