Hi,

I recently got a Broadwood, serial no: 104083

Can anyone tell me anything about this, it is upright, has been tuned and sounds lovely!

Although we have a record of a similar number in 1872, it is more likely to be around 1850, any chance of emailing me some photos? Broadwoods' archives still exist, the will trace it for a fee.

As I understand the Guy who owns the rights passed away last year, all the invoices have been paid that I have sent so someone is looking after it , I deal with the London office in Barons Court Road. Alastair Laurence deals with most of the Historical questions.

The Surrey History Centre are in the processes of indexing all the records Lottery grand comes to mind some of the records are on line there is a link to them in the history section
