Rud.Ibach Sohn baby grand
Thank you for letting me join you. I have come across a Rud.Ibach Sohn baby grand and would like to know the history, age, etc. of it. The frame number is 18595. Any ideas? Looking forward to hearing from you.

The number suggests about 1888 if it is the right one - see the Numbers link at pianogen.org
No archives are available to trace individual pianos, we can only compile a report based on whatever information we can deduce from the piano itself, and compare it to catalogues of the period. Baby grands of the 1900s are all so similar!

1888 seems early for a baby grand, how long is it? Grands over five feet in length are not usually regarded as baby grands.
