Dear Sirs, I own a fully serviceable upright piano (underdamper) with the following inscription inside it:
INTERNATIONAL MUSIC EXHIBITION 1885
AWARDED TO ARTHUR ALLISON & Co.FOR GOOD TONE.
No.25930
MODEL REGINA
Specially constructed for India
S.ROSE & Co. BOMBAY
IMPORTERS & AGENTS
Kindly let me know if it would be considered to be an antique piano and what would be its approximate value, considering that its is fully operational and has a good tone. Any further information on the same would be welcome. In anticipation,

The number suggests that it is probably before 1905, so it would seem to be an antique in the sense of being over a hundred years old, but there is no value in this as far as the UK market is concerned. See the Valuation link at pianogen.org
The award refers to the firm generally, not this particular piano, see the Medals link at pianogen.org
