Reid Sohn Pianos

A local piano tuner recommends Reid Sohn Pianos taller ones from 118cm or so.
He believes they are a good piano for someone wanting to buy new on a budget of around 2K or so.

He also recommends the Yamaha B1
Any thoughts ?

Haven't seen many recent Reids, but they always used to be good value. The earlier ones were Korean and were generally good but suffered from stupidly tight tuning pins. Later ones Indonesian I think, as are the b1 Yamahas.

There are far worse ways to blow 2k.
