Hi everyone, I have been asked by my aunt to try to find out the value of her piano. It was bought in 1935 from Crane & Sons, Liverpool. She has the original HP agreement which has the following information: 'Pianoforte - marked C & S 128779, numbered 63962'. My aunt thinks it is walnut and has an iron frame. It was last tuned in 1967 but has not been played for years. Can anyone give me any information or point me in the right direction. Thanks.

If you look at the Valuation link at pianogen.org you'll see it is impossible without on-the-spot inspection by a tuner, which I can do if you are in East Anglia.

I would be interested in buying a good scan or copy of the receipt though, or the original. Please email if you can help.
