I have been trying to find info on this name but unable to find any history the only writing on outside is in gold lettering 'Merton London'. I have checked the keys and they have a number etched into bottom 2 keys 49326. On the iron frame top right is a number 41331 and halfway down on rightside is the number 68 and at keyboard level is a image of a harp.
It was purchased in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1990.

I have nothing ready on computer about this name, but I'll see what I can find. The harp mark is the trade mark of the Booth & Brooks foundry which cast the iron frame, and these are commonly found between about 1910-1933 or later. See the Piano Names link at pianogen.org
