Ambridge & Sons
I have taken apart this antiquated Henry Ambridge and Sons upright and there is no plate on the wood or serial number on the cast iron frame. Can someone tell me how to find out more about this "kindlewood to be"? I have picks if need and time to look if I knew where. Please help me before Rumplestilskin finds out my name.

While humour is always welcome, I can't follow your points about picks or "no plate :0( on the wood or serial number on the cast iron frame :0( ."
Ambridge was established in 1890, and seems to disappered around the 1914 war. See pianogen.org for general info.
