Weaver - York PA -

Post by RollingStone »

I have a Weaver Piano, York PA with a serial number 23371. I did a google for Weaver, York PA and this was the website that it suggested. I scanned the lists of topics for a couple of the pages and didn't see anything listed for Weaver and was wondering if you could tell me anything about this particular piano.

Thanks, Sue

We don't see them this side of the ocean, we can look up numbers in American books, all they give is an approximate date, but these start at 50,000 in 1901, so there is probably another number somewhere. See the Numbers link at pianogen.org

Weaver Piano

What sort of piano is it? A console, spinet, upright, square? What veneer is on the case? 1950's mahogany, 1930's walnut, or 1920's oak?
The Piano Atlas is neither complete nor 100% reliable as serial numbers do not always run consequtively depending on what company was using the name at a given time.
