The new Samick/Reid-Sohn NSG series
Anyone had a chance to play one of the new NSG grands? http://eng.samick.co.kr/products/produc ... ode=000005 I played an NSG-175 with the Reid-Sohn badge the other day and I must say I was amazed by the touch and the sound. If this is what the far east is now capable of making God help the European piano industry. The price is also unbelievable. I'm told institutions are putting in large orders for these so the waiting list is getting longer and longer. But is the individual buyer still taking a risk with their money even at this price?
Re: Samick
You on good drugs man! There ain't no donuts round these parts.Openwood wrote:I haven't played a Samick but I had a look at the picture - what's the point of the round doughnut-shaped thing stuck on the side?
I'm not skilled at posting links but have a look at this and see if there be not a black doughnut shaped appendage on the side of the piano. It hardly matters, I just wondered what they was for.....
