Knight K20
General discussion about piano makes, problems with pianos, or just seeking advice.
Moderators: Feg, Gill the Piano, Melodytune
Knight K20
I am thinking of buying one of these. Made in 1971-3. They are only a little bit smaller than the K10, so what differences are there. And are there any pitfalls to watch for? Not been tuned for 10 years

It was less powerful than the K10 other than that not a lot pit falls with Knights are the Bass string the 70 -80 one tend to be a bit dead if they have had hard playing
The actions had no nasty bits in them and tend to wear quite well
IT will take a few tunings to stabilize the piano having no treble support like the K10 they tend to swing when you pitch them
PG may have more input on them
