I am about to buy a second hand upright young chang piano made around 1985 for £795. It has a lovely tone and touch although could look nicer! Is this a good deal? Any thoughts welcome.

Not bad value.....

What do you mean about looking nicer? Is it damaged or badly scratched?

I am used to pianos being dark and this is a light stained cherry, but it is not that scratched.

thanks for your help. I will go ahead as it is from a dealer with a 5 year guarantee and option to part ex at same price so nothing to lose! (which can't be said about some of my other choices)
