Berkeley(London) and Courtheim
I am trying to grade and get a manufacturing date for two pianos of which I have not been very successful. The one is a Berkeley(London) and the second is a Courtheim. I do have plate numbers but cannot seem to identify these mysterious pianos. Thanks for your help. Flaxman

Are you sure about the spelling? Many people feel frustrated if their piano has no name, but many piano names are meaningless, and the vast majority cannot be found on the internet. Ours is the world's largest collection of historical information on british pianos, and there are over twenty thousand on our files alone! The Berkley Piano Works was run by Lambert London Ltd., but we have very little information. See
