Help - Chipped Poly Finish!

Post by yamaha-dad »

Hello all,

Glad to find this website and forum.

I have an energetic 2 year old son who has 'accidentally' chipped the black poly finish on my beautiful Yamaha U1 piano!

There are several small chips on the lid and at the front of the keyboard and my question is if there is any way to repair this damage?

Hoping you'll be able to help!

Yip but at a price

You will need a polisher who will do polyester most will not, ask the dealer who you got the piano from most of the big Yam dealers have a polyester guy

Thanks Barrie!

Will have to try and be more successful in keeping my son, metal objects and the piano apart!
