Spencer 49905

Post by Philip Kiss »

I have a John Spencer piano that I need to dispose of. It has an iron frame, marquetry on the front, plus candle holders, and has the number 49905 inside it. It has been in storage for some years and will require polishing and tuning. Can anyone help with an age or possible value?

The number suggests 1909, and I can confirm that the published numbers were correct in that year, although some earlier ones are inaccurate. See
