Yamaha CFIII

Post by Openwood »

Having seen the bewildering role discounts play in the price of new pianos I wondered if anyone could give me their opinion on the lowest price I might realistically expect to pay for a new Yamaha CFIII? I've had a windfall which means that instead of the C5 I've been saving for I might JUST be able to get my hands on one of those big bad boys.

I'd like to hear from people who aren't trying to flog me one before I make a decision. I've considered other 'big names' (Fazioli, Petrof and Steinway)and whilst there are obviously better pianos out there it seems to me that for value for money you just can't do better than Yamaha at the moment.

You are in the right time of the year to do a good deal all the retailer are short on sales at the moment. A new CFIIIS can be had for 49,999.00 delivered and a bit less if you try. however, there are not many dealers that have them in stock so you will have to wait. There is also…. x hire – demo CFIIIS for a lot less that a new one and most are sold 3 to 5 years old

What about a secondhand Steinway D form Jeffrey Shackell or Steinway

Petrof??

Petrof?...

PETROF!???

In this assembled company, Petrof is utter carp (sic). Whatever made you consider one of these overpriced Communist throwbacks in the same breath as Steinway and Faz?

The CF111S is a Lexus compared to the Petrof's (Pre-VW era) Skoda. Buy one. 45k will do it.
