HERMANN MYER PIANO

Post by jemball »

Are these pianos any good, and how much should I pay to a private seller for a 15 yr old upright?

You can get a new Model 110 for 1,600 and a 122 for £1800 discounted

The 122 are not bad for the price the 110 no way £1600 you can get a Yamaha B1 for that price which are much, much better

As for your 15 year old one they will be lucky if they get £200.00 from a dealer that’s for the 110 maybe 400 for the 122. If they were part exing that may get a tad more. What are they asking ?

Their Grands are not bad for the price have a few on my round but they take a lot of prep work to get them up to scratch.

Barrie,

Many thanks for the info. It must be a 110 as that is the height in cm? The seller (a friend of mine) is reluctant to give a price until we decide that we might buy it(not very subtle really!). I'll let you know the price if I do find out, as we may go and try it out this weekend.
