Need advice: Kawai VT132
Hi,
Kawai introduced VT132 model in 2004. However, it is not listed in Kawai's US website anymore. Has VT132 been discontinued? Nobody talked about this model online. I am considering to buy a vertical piano 48" or taller and ran across a VT132; but I am afraid that the innovative variable touch feature means it will more likely to be a service/maintenance problem after the 10 year full warranty expires.
Any input will be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Be8

I appreciated your reply even though I already read all the official information about Kawai VT-132 that I could find online before I asked for help. Maybe this model is still fairly so either not that many people bought it or it didn't sell well. Or maybe all the VT-132 owners are happy with it so no one has talked about this model online. Since I intend to buy a piano that will be trouble-free for at least 5-10 years, I am more cautious about new models. One dealer told me that he couldn't find any VT-132 made after 2004. That's why I wonder if it's discontinued. Maybe I should ask the Kawai company.
Keep up the good work that you have done for this forum. I enjoy reading the messages and advices on this website. Thanks.
