Either Fletcher & Newman or Heckschers ( easy to find on the www ) - As far as replacing them however :- Remove the set off (let off) button with its felt pad by gentle anti clockwise un-screwing, either using your fingers or with the aid of pliers - this should leave you with the metal thread s...

I would think piano logistics are used by quite a few dealers and shops, judging by all the positive feedback - Perhaps consider getting a quote from all of them .... I couldn't agree more with the suggestion to ask if at all possible to be linked in a part load .... should be a lot cheaper.

Brown and Illingworth, and Tenniswoods - both companies are based in the North East (Newcastle upon Tyne) and have been moving full size concert grands where quality moving is extremely important. Fully insured and do runs throughout the UK. You should easily find their details on the internet.

It would depend on what condition it was in, and without more detail it would be impossible to advise what the best course of action would be. If you leave it outside covered with a "tarp" it will definitely suffer major damage in no time at all (assuming it is ok now). How about getting a...

If the number you give is the actual serial number, it would indicate it was made around 1907. The likelyhood is that the keys would be covered in ivory, there should be signs of joins between the wide and narrow parts on the "white" keys. As to insurance .... well that depends on what typ...

I totally agree with Colin - Get them out to look at it NOW.
