Well, I took the plunge and bought a Yamaha U1 Silent. Lovely sound and very responsive. Let's hope it will sound as good when it's in my flat! Delivery next week.

Thanks, Barrie. I'll be going to a dealer tomorrow and will discuss this with him. He deals with the Yamaha or Korg systems. My preference would be one fitted at the factory and I'll be looking at various Yamaha silent models, especially the U1. I don't much like the sound of the equivalent Schimmel...
