Danemann grands
Not bad for schools, but the sound is a little on the brash-metallic side. Still think the Danemann uprights(light oak big school pianos)are terrific.

Tuning and Repairs
The charges seem to be quite fair but tuning only involves tensioning the strings and nothing else..repairs are always extra. It's as if you took a car to a garage to have the engine crypton tuned and were expecting the garage to replace the faulty brake pads for free..it ain't gonna happen.

not tuned often or on a regular basis
Supposing the piano is new in say 1940, and say the 1st tuning at the customer's house the piano is tuned to concert pitch or a little higher..the pitch of the piano constantly drops( mainly due to playing, variations in temp etc). The job of a good tuner is to bring the pitch back up on every conse...
