I have decided to keep it, & relearn how to play. I had not realised that it could be that old - the stereo will go elsewhere. I will be looking into the tuning aspect in due course.
Sentiment won the day due to the memories linked to it.

does anyone have any idea how much my Nathaniel Berry upright metal grand piano is worth. It's serial number is 36871. I'm being pressurised to sell for Ł80 to clear room for my husband's stereo. The possible buyer is coming tomorrow.
